I offer a wide range of toys and activities to stimulate young minds and bodies. I make full use of my house and garden as well as the local community resourses.

Indoor

Role Play Be a witch, cat, doctor or builder
Miniature world Dolls, prams, trains, cars, roads, dolls house
Reading area Variety of books for different ages
Messy play Sand, water, textiles and sensory play
Construction Lego, building blocks, duplo
Puzzles and games Mouse trap, giant snakes and ladders snap
Musical instruments Songs dancing and noise making
Creative Modeling, painting and mosaic
Cooking Jam tarts, cookies and play dough

 

Outdoor

Garden Weather permitting will be part of every day
Gardening Learning about plants and how they grow
Physical play Running, jumping, skipping, climbing, riding.
Messy play Sunny days, paddling pool, and sand pit under a gazebo
Welly walks Weather permitting once or twice a week we try to go and explore

 

Outings

Monday We go to the local mother and toddler group in Ditcheat. Very good for them to let off some steam, be creative and interacte with the other children. Sometimes depending on how tired they are we go to the local play park.
Wednesdays Parent and toddlers group at Sunny Hill School, Bruton. Lots of new activities in a well organised and structured nursery school and pre-prep environment. Toddler Gym, based in Shepton leisure centre, a wonderful 40 minutes of organised and structured activities, teaching balance
